My name is Andrea Walker and I’m a psychic medium and tarot reader based in Cheshire.

I grew up being able to communicate with Spirit from a very young age, probably around the age of four. I didn’t tell anyone, I just thought everyone could hear these voices or see shadowy figures across the room. I was always interested in the paranormal, especially after we moved to an old Victorian terraced house that most definitely had a spirit residing there.

Obviously, it picked up on my energy and lots of poltergeist-type phenomena would happen around me – doors falling off their hinges, for example, and my parents thinking I was in the house when I wasn’t as they could hear my voice or me laughing.

In my twenties and thirties, I began to admit I was probably gifted and started to learn the tarot. I still work with the exact same pack and these are Astro tarot, not the normal tarot most people use. It’s all personal preference; they’re merely a tool for prediction, so it really is a case of what works best for you!

I started doing readings in my forties and devoted my time to honing my gift. I am clairaudient, clairvoyant, clairsentient and an empath. I feel what people feel, pick up on energies and emotions.

My readings are ‘spirited’, lol. I give messages from loved ones in spirit and I give a tarot reading with predictions, the length of which becomes clear during the reading, so some readings are for the coming year, or years. No two readings are alike, they are as individual as we are! I’m a chatterbox, I get a lot out in my readings and humour is part of how I connect with Spirit – they get my quirky nature and send messages in song lyrics, or film scenes lol. Far easier and quicker to plant a line from film that I’ll instantly get the meaning of than say it slowly, word for word!

People say my readings aren’t like the normal and I like that. I go in-depth and like to back up the details the best way I can. I’ll give you as many details as I can to show you that I have a loved one with me. A bit ironic to say I’m down to earth when I’m dealing with heavenly Spirits, but there you go.

I have done readings via video link globally during my time, so don’t think just because you’re not in the UK, that’s a reason not to enquire. As long as we can work out a mutually convenient time during my working hours, we are good to go!

I won’t ever try to force anyone to believe in what I believe in, we are all free to choose what we want to and I’m also the biggest debunker of stuff. If it’s water or dust particles on a photo, then I’ll not pretend it’s a spiritual orb just to appease somebody. I take a very scientific approach to my work and I believe we all carry these powers as our seventh sense, it’s just some of us are more tuned in than others.

Footnote: You don’t leave and ‘take a spirit with you’. I get asked a lot: “Will they follow me home?” The answer is your loved ones pop in and out all the time. Loving you guiding you from afar, I’m just the conduit to voice that love and guidance.
